Let’s just lay it out there. I haven’t got a clue who SuperParka is, other than the fact that they’re a brand new duo whose members are named Paco and Simon. And they’re probably French, since their tweets and Facebook posts are in French. But holy wow, is their debut single a debonair offering full of confidence and sleek swaggering, playful teasing R&B pop and alt electronic elements. Just listening to GIRL makes me feel as cool as they sound, if only for three minutes long. This girl would love to hang out with SuperParka and their flushed steamy, bass woozy music.
