How To Get A Body Like A WWE Superstar: Week 3: Brock Lesnar
So you want a body like Brock Lesnar? A former mixed martial artist. He won the World Heavy Weight Championship in the UFC in only his 5th fight! Let’s learn a bit about him before we get into what you will need to do to get a body like this freak of nature. Brock Edward Lesnar was born on July 12, 1977. He is an American Professional Wrestler, Actor, Mixed Martial Artist aka known as MMA, and amateur wrestler. He has currently just resigned with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and he currently appears on the RAW brand. But this isn't the end of his achievements-- He is also a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and former Number 1 ranked Heavyweight by Sherdog. He was still ranked at number 5 before he felt the need to announce his retirement at the end of 2011. Brock Lesnar is also a very accomplished amateur wrestler. He won the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship, and placed second in 1999. He also lost in the finals to 1999 World Freestyle Wrestling Champion and future New England Patriots offensive lineman, Stephen Neal. Later down the line he gained prominence in the world of wrestling (WWE). His accomplishments there were simply outstanding. He was a three-time WWE Champion. He was also the youngest ever WWE Champion, at the age of 25 with his first reign. Along with being the youngest ever Champion, Lesnar was also the WWE 2002 King of the Ring, as well as the winner of the 2003 Royal Rumble. In 2004, Brock made the decision to leave the WWE to pursue a dream of a career in the NFL. He played during the pre-season for the Minnesota Vikings, but as luck would have it, he ended up being a late cut. Lesnar than decided to return to professional wrestling at the end of 2005, and decided to join New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in his first match. He was then stripped of the title in early July of 2006. Lesnar then decided it was time he started a career in Mixed Martial Arts. He won his first fight in June 2007, with relative ease. It wasn't long before the UFC came calling for this mammoth of a man. He then signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in October 2007. He, however, lost his UFC debut against Frank Mir--A lot of controversy surrounded this loss, but it was a loss that he admits still haunts him to this day. He then came back stronger than ever, however, and he captured the UFC Heavyweight Championship from Randy Couture on November 15, 2008, again, with relative ease. He then avenged his loss to Mir, destroying him effortlessly at UFC 100, to become the Undisputed Champion. But things soon turned bad for Brock Lesnar, as he was diagnosed with a condition known as Diverticulitis, and was out of training and action for 6 months. Lesnar returned to defeat the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin at UFC 116. Lesnar lost the Heavyweight belt against Cain Velasquez at UFC 121, and he was, once again, unfortunately, stricken with a bout of Diverticulitis in May 2011, and felt surgery had to be done to cope with the ailment. In August 2011, Lesnar stated that he was ready to return to fighting in MMA, and most notably the UFC. Lesnar retired soon afterwards. On the April 2, 2012 edition of RAW (what inspired this article), he officially made his return to the WWE. Now that you’ve been briefed, you're probably still asking the question “How can I get a body like Brock Lesnar?” I've said it once; I’ve said it in a thousand times. But in this guy's case, it really is true. Hard work and determination are certainly needed. One of the best things about Lesnar is that not only is he large, but he is also ridiculously strong—And even rarer in this case, he has GREAT mobility. This guy can do summersaults. At 305lbs of pure muscle, that is quite the feat. There really aren't many athletes in the world as good as Brock Lesnar. First we'll discuss—Is Brock Lesnar on steroids? In my opinion, yes. There is really no doubt. But that doesn't change the undeniable fact that this guy works his ass off. How many of you wish you could do what he does? How many of you have done a few steroid cycles, and still, you are nowhere near this level of development—Of brute strength? Looking at younger pictures of Lesnar, if I had to make a wager on how he got his size so quickly, I'd say he's a user of the Test, Tren, and Deca cycle. His first cycle, however, probably consisted of Testosterone and Deca, and will have gone something like this: Testosterone Cypionate Weeks 1-16 1 700mg weekly Deca Weeks 1-12 550MG weekly ALWAYS REMEMBER TO DO PCT: The Importance of PCT The next thing, the one I believe he'll have used to really push the limits and put a lot of mass on, would include Tren. Yes, the mother of all steroids. Tren is probably the most powerful anabolic steroid. Not only does it build mass at an incredible rate, it also burns fat at an equally as impressive rate. - 800mg Testosterone Enanthate (Week1-14) - 600mg Deca (Week 1-10) - GP Tren Acetate 100 300-400mg (Weeks 10-16) Lesnar is a huge eater. In fact, his dad stated that the hardest thing for Lesnar to do was diet. He could eat well and he'd eat healthy, but he'd eat 5/6 chicken legs and vegetables at one portion. Then he’d eat again an hour later. He thought nothing of eating a huge steak and vegetables, so cutting and losing the fat was hard for him. This is why he'll love Tren so much-- The "Magic" pill for fat loss, I suppose. Couple that with its great strength and muscle mass gaining qualities, and you have a freak like Lesnar. Obviously it isn't just steroids you need to be like Brock Lesnar. His training is impeccable. I noticed he seemed to stay in the 2 to 5 rep range. I've heard and from the limited information we have of him, he seems to enjoy doing 6 sets of 2 with 3 minute breaks between. He's also a fan of full body workouts. For example: Squats 6x2 reps 90% of max Overhead Press 4x4 85% of max dips 6x6 85% of max Plank 3x3 minutes It is obvious that there'd be much more to it than this, but this is a good starting point. Overall, I hope you've learned a bit on the effort and what it takes to build a body like Brock Lesnar. Do I believe anyone can do it? If you have the determination and heart, of course!
