Found some nice blooms out in the #superstionmountains last month. Having not scouted earlier in the day I found myself in usual form - running up the mountainside literally chasing the sunlight as it crept further behind the ridge line to the west. So "sunset" was a bit earlier than expected. Luckily I came across this patch just in time. The cool clouds burned off just after sunset. And next time I'll head out there not during a rare heat wave in early April. Was HOT! #arizonaphotographer #arizonasunset (at Superstition Mountains)

There are so many things I miss about living in NYC and Portland Oregon. Had to give up a bunch. But I have to say when I need to clear my head it’s very nice to have the Superstition Mountains so close. So serene and beautiful. The full moon accompanied me on this day.
