Was he about to lie that about the fact he just needed one because he couldn’t stop shaking and wasn’t able to quell the anxious emotions that began to swell the longer this killing semester went on? Oh, most definitely! He made up a surprised face when he pulled himself back to look her directly in the eyes. Even going so far as to make a mock gasp as if he was offended by the demand. Which, he knew, with everything up to this point, was extremely justified.
Everyone being distant and not wanting him around. All according to plan, right Kokichi?
‘ Himiko! You’re so mean! ‘ He put on a playful pout, still holding her, of course. ‘ You just kind of looked like you needed one. So I thought I’d do you a favour just the one time! I see I made a huuuuuge mistake! ‘

-Feed Kokichi by throwing cheese balls at him.- “Catch!”
The first one takes him by surprise, and he dodges it. “Do I look like a dog or somethi--ah.” The second hits him in the chest, leaving little bits of orange cheese dust on his scarf.
“Oh... So you’ve issued me a formal challenge. Well then...”
“Do your worst, Yumeno-chan.” And he proceeds to, in fact, catch as many of the cheese balls as he can in his mouth, like a dog. He’s aiming to impress, too--and after he’s done, it’ll be her turn.

“N-No, it clearly isn’t!” He declares in an even more panicked tone, staring at the pot. Just one glance at it could make him see why it caught on fire, now being very glad he walked into the kitchen.
“A-Anyway, let’s hurry and find the-AHHH, WAIT, DON’T DO THA-!” But before he could stop her, she already threw the water into the grease fire, making it worse. “u-ueeuuee!! L-Let’s just hurry and find the fire extinguisher, already!!” He scrambles with her to go find one, looking relieved when she did.
And to make sure she’d aim directly at the fire since her eyes were closed, he grabbed her arms to guide her hands so that she was firing directly where she needed to, to avoid making less of an already big mess. Thankfully, that was able to take the fire out, with Shuichi racing over to the stove to immediately turn the burner off, giving a big sigh of relief.
“Th-Thank god... we did it....” He reassures her, still feeling his heart racing from the quick moment of panic. He doesn’t even want to imagine what would happen if she did end up catching the whole kitchen on fire....
“N-Now let’s clean up before someone comes in here... and I will happily just make some fries for you, instead...” He sighs, slumping his shoulders.

1. NAGITO’S HAIR USED TO BE BLACK WHEN HE WAS A KID. when he got his lymphoma , it lost all pigmentation & life. This is why the tips of his hair are a pink color ----- it’s his black hair fading to brown to red to washed out pink.
2. HE’S A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE. between his parents fortune & his dumb luck to win a lottery of 3 million yen , he has plenty of money that he refuses to spend. the only time he starts spending his money is to help rebuild jabberwock island for the remnants.
3. HE LIKES TO PAINT HIS FINGERNAILS. preferably green , but a nice lavender color is perfect too.
4. HE’S BEEN KNOWN TO DISSOCIATE ON THE BEACH SO LONG THAT HE GETS SUNBURNED ----- tho later this becomes a suntan , actually giving his skin a nice healthy glow.
5. SOMETIMES HE LIKES TO PLAY JOKES ON HIS FRIENDS BY OFFERING TO LEND A HAND , && THEN THROWING HIS FAKE HAND AT THEM. they are all annoyed at this point.
6. HE WILL NOT TURN DOWN FOOD & DRINK --- no matter how disgusting they may be. if you put in the effort to make him something , he will eat it. Hiyoko has definitely had him eat a mud pie before & he said thank you.
7. HE CAN’T BE ALONE ------- his thoughts bother him too much. if he is left alone , he talks to himself as if he’s someone else. he prefers to be with friends , climbing them like jungle gyms & braiding their hair.

Yes, he knew exactly who she was-- Which wasn’t the best thing in his opinion. Still, she was here and he was happy to send her off if this was going to be a quick thing.

It was more just he was passing the time while Keith and Addie were doing a few things not too far away from him-- Which, right now, was getting ice cream. Addie did call over to see if he wanted anything, but he waved it off. He knew, at best, he was just Keith’s wingman, and, at least, his third-wheel. Which was fine, it was Keith who invited him to come anyway. He didn’t mind being there. Got him out of his apartment really.
The addition of a new voice was what pulled him up from the screen he had been paying avid attention to. ‘ Hm? ‘ Meeting another set of eyes, he couldn’t help but laugh a little bit. ‘ Too?
