MEGAN TAGGED ME! (fyi megan i'm damn proud of my url don't be a hater)
1- Favorite character from anything and why?
2- What’s an issue you feel really passionate about? (Global or local, an organization or a broad cause, etc. etc.)
Idk I guess just in general tolerance and acceptance. Also ending rape culture and the objectification of women because that’s disgusting.
3- Favorite film— give the longer-than-long explanation, like you’re a movie critic that just fell in love and doesn’t care for spoiler alerts.
Gee, there’s a lot, but one that made a big impact was Freedom Writers. I saw it last year and it really opens up your eyes to how trapped some teenagers are in this giant cycle of aggression and racial violence. All the kids’ stories are portrayed as very real and emotional, and you feel for them, you know? And the ending was amazing, it gives you so much hope for society to see how far those kids came.
4- Top three items on your bucket list.
I don’t have a bucket list as I don’t have too many “wild ambitions” or whatnot; I just want a secure, happy life with the people I love—don’t think that’s not too much to ask.
5- Describe someone that you don’t know too well, but want to become friends with.
Megan. No, I kid, I was attempting to suck up. Well, I mean, I have a lot of friends who I don’t talk to or see very much anymore and that makes me sad because they’re really cool people and I like hanging out with them. I don’t know if that answer correlated somewhat to what you were asking? Hopefully?
6- What instrument do you wish you could play?
saxophone, trumpet, or guitar
8- Describe something or someone you miss and why.
I miss having friends to talk to and hang out with because honestly, I’m always reallylonely.
9- What’s changed in the past one or two years that you never thought would change?
Hmm, basically my whole life (vague I know). Also, I’m switching schools, which I didn’t think would happen.
10- You receive a bunch of birthday presents from someone who knows a lot (or everything) about you. Name a few.
CDs from my favorite folk-rock and indie bands/artists, my favorite books, kite stuff, a new water bottle that doesn’t spill so easily, MIXTAPE
11- Stories have beginnings and ends, and a turning point somewhere in the middle. So far, what would you say was your turning point?
Poetic question—I applaud you. Turning point was when I graduated middle school, because that indirectly led to where I am now.
Now, 11 questions of my own:
1. If you had the option to use drugs with no physical, safety, or legal repercussions, would you? Why or why not?
2. Have you had any specific moments where you were about to cry but you knew it was vital that you held back? What were they?
3. What is the one value that you hold closest to you and try to uphold at all costs?
4. Does seeing (like on Facebook) that other people are doing things and having fun make you very jealous, or do you sort of resolve that your life is your life and it’ll be the way it is?
5. Do you think I’m a jerk? If so, how can I be less jerky? (sorry for sticking this in here, I’d just like to know)
6. If you had to choose between spending all your time indoors or outdoors, which would you choose?
7. How would you describe your level of motivation in life? Would you like to change it?
8. What is your favorite core school subject area (math, English, science, social studies, hate all of them)?
9. If there was an opportunity for humans to read all the thoughts of other people (like the Thought Police but without the policing part), would you take it? Why/Why not? What repercussions do you think that could cause in society?
10. You’re in an out-of-commission plane plummeting towards sure death. Who do you call, and what do you say to them?
11. Where do you see yourself in 25 years? 50?
