My first Amazon review: William Wright 5.0 out of 5 stars Bold and Brutally Honest December 25, 2017 Verified Purchase Depths of the Soul is one of the most authentic collections of poetry I have read in quite some time. Elizabeth doesn’t have to use sweeping metaphors or use flowery images to express herself. She just delivers the truth and leaves you to ponder. Her poetry can be very direct and I appreciate this stylistic choice, because it may change the attitudes of people who may not have been fans of poetry before. Some of my favorite pieces from this book were: “Did Shakespeare,” “Follow,” “Half Empty or Half-Full,” “Middle of May,”and “ What a Difference a Year Makes.” I eagerly anticipate Elizabeth Daniel’s next collection of verses. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading her debut book of poems “Diary of a Poet” as well. #writer#supportanindieauthor#indieauthor#femalepoet#poet#kentuckypoet#poemoftheday#wordporn#herheartpoetry#bymepoetry#womenwhowrite#writersofig#poetsofig
