#top9of2019 Graphic Design edition!! I had set a goal for this year to produce more design work for organizations that were #bipoc ran and/or owned. After vocalizing it to a few folx within my support system and the first 1/2 of the year being a rough crash course in being a cooperate designer (which I still am, blegh) that goal was met!! When @aztlanathletics and @therosariogroup both first trusted me to design stuff for them, I was weary af, as those who know me can attest to. But working on designs for both orgs, along with @lazinefest have been the most creative fun I’ve had in a while. I’m going to #verbalize more in #2020 for more opportunities to create with more bipoc ran/owned orgs as well as the continuation of working with #aztlanathletics and #rosariogroup. Today’s the Day! @knitboop has released her new pattern: #YeonSweater! I cannot tell you what a privilege it is to #TestKnit for Yu Ra. She’s just lovely. I knit up this lace yoke sweater in @labienaimee Super Sock in the Erik Northman color way (s/o to @truebloodhbo) and I’m so proud of the results! I did mine in a size G, or 61” Bust using 8” of positive ease. This made the neck a little wider and dropped the sleeves but left plenty of room in the bust. Then I did a bunch of waist shaping, then added it all back in to comfortably glide over my hips to show off a bit of my hourglass shape. I can’t wait to make another one of these because it also knit up so fast!
