I am either hyperverbal or silent as the grave. There isn’t much in between. When I’m hyperverbal it’s because I’m feeling unsettled and desperate to make sure I’m heard. This comes from a lifetime…

#top9of2019 Graphic Design edition!! I had set a goal for this year to produce more design work for organizations that were #bipoc ran and/or owned. After vocalizing it to a few folx within my support system and the first 1/2 of the year being a rough crash course in being a cooperate designer (which I still am, blegh) that goal was met!! When @aztlanathletics and @therosariogroup both first trusted me to design stuff for them, I was weary af, as those who know me can attest to. But working on designs for both orgs, along with @lazinefest have been the most creative fun I’ve had in a while. I’m going to #verbalize more in #2020 for more opportunities to create with more bipoc ran/owned orgs as well as the continuation of working with #aztlanathletics and #rosariogroup. A vida toma um novo tom a cada esquina. Estar bem é uma necessidade, meta. Por anos me guardei em uma caixinha, não quis ver o sol, o brilho, nada.. Só alguém. Em uma bela noite a vida aos pouco se vai, e o jogo vira. Novas apostas. Recomeçar, querer o novo quando não vai e nem vem, não é um erro. É melhor abrir portas para o novo ao que permanecer na busca da porta perdida.  As lembranças e o apego as suas verdades dificulta.  São as mais fantásticas e lindas torturas assim por dizer. Esquecer não tem como. Afinal de contas foram verdades; sentimentos, conselhos, visões, amores e sonhares. Essa é a dor. O beijo pode nunca ser dado e tudo não passar de um aperto de mãos. Ainda sim haverá amor, carinho, dedicação.  Esses são os penares de um novo começo. Sair de sua tão linda quimera que de tão linda permanece em um mundo solitário só de um.  A vida não para, o canto ainda ecoará e a solidão apenas irá apurar sua audição. Sinta, não verbalize.
