Tips From a Writer's Husband #1 : "Just write. Just write everything that's in your brain. And then sort out the good sh*t."
.
These words of wisdom come from Colleen's husband. He's been married to a writer for almost 9 years, so he knows a thing or two about how to inspire us creative types.

So like...I know I’ve been in some sort of funk, basically beating myself up about things I am actually not bad at, and proud of.
And today I found something that just...made my heart so full and happy.
I went to use my husband’s computer, because still waiting for replacement of keyboard, and went to AO3. I was expecting to find myself logged in, because I’ve used his desktop before, and what I found melted me.
That is MY husband. A man who made an AO3 just to subscribe to me. To support me. I can not articulate how much I love this man. He has his flaws, but at the end of the day he stands by me in all I do, right from my nursing job to my hobby of fanfic writing.
Excuse me while I go cry and be emotional because my husband rocks.
My wife is crazy, she made such a big deal about the Bible study yesterday. I love her so much.
@saltycount and I made coming out cookies to give to a few of my friends. We couldn't agree on which way was the best way to decorate them so we had a nailed-it style decorate off.
The results:
I think we both nailed it 💖💜💙
I'm truly fortunate........
Sometimes I complain that my husband drives me nuts but in reality I am truly fortunate. Although he is at home Due to lay off and is bored and sick of not working (his next job starts the end of August) he is not just sitting around doing nothing. He's also incredibly supportive. I am working my full time job which today meant an 8 1/2 hr day. I called to say I was late leaving work and had to go and check my sisters house as they are on vacation. He asked if I was going to the gym and I said I likely would just come straight home after as I felt bad that he was sitting at home all day bored plus we would eat really late if I didn't. His response was incredible supportive. He said not to worry that he was hanging out watching the ball game and that I should just go to the gym but to call when I was on my way home. I went to the gym for an hour of cardio and 1/2 hr of stretching then called to say I was on my way home. I got home to the few groceries we needed purchased and put away, the kitchen clean and a supper of steak, potatoes and fresh tomatoes ready and waiting. He could of easily complained that I'm never home, that I'm selfish spending all this time at the gym. He could have easily have sent me a message to pick up the groceries and left the kitchen dirty. I could have come home to having to figure out and cook supper. I have friends who face those exact things each day but I'm incredible luck and I am thankful for that every day. ❤️ @imladris14
