Okay, so about the apron thing...

They say that it the “death” of Sakura’s character development for she became a housewife.

In all honesty, it’s just more character development, or you know, a big fuck you to SP for portraying Sakura as a lazy daughter who doesn’t want to do chores, fold her clothes, keep her shoes all tidy when she comes in (esp. in RtN).

But you know, whatever, she lost her character development.

About the Apron

Ok, wow, I really did want to avoid anything that touched on the shipping wars, but really, this has nothing to do with ships, even if most of those that bitch about it are anti-cannon shippers.

Alright, let’s look at the overall theme of chapter 700, shall we? The main point of the chapter is to show that Naruto(you know, the guy who the story was originally all about?) achieved his dreams, and to show a glimpse into the next generation. That said Narutos dreams are to become Hokage, have a family, and achieve peace.

Now, wtf does that have to do with Sakura’s apron? Simple, Sakura’s title, her job, what she was trained for, was to be a combat medic. She was trained by Tsunade to treat wounds, not disease. The fact that she has time to be home for when daughter comes home from school, shows how peaceful the Narutoverse has become. There is no long list of ninja casualties to be dealt with, showing, once again, the relatively peaceful state of the world at this time. Considering that she was said to have surpassed Tsunade by the end of the war, do you really think that Sakura would be called in to deal with run-of-the-mill injuries? No, she would be called in for the tough cases, kinda like House, except with wounds instead of pathology, and less of a dick(unless you piss her off, of course)
