So this post was originally made on September 11th 2020. I am reblogging on September 13th of the same year. At the time my computer first loaded this post it was at ten-thousand-one-hundred-and-eighty-two notes. By the time I’d scrolled down to it and chose to open it in a new tab so I could check when it was originally made, it had increased to 10,191 notes. When I noticed this as I was preparing to reblog, I reloaded the page and found that the number had reached 10,198.

What I’m sayig is that somewhere, someone’s mother is quite likely approaching the realization that they may actually be compelled to live up to their end of this little bargain.

I am now about to hit reblog, but before I do I’m reloading the page one last time. In the time it has taken me to type this, the number has reached 10,205.

Superhero 101? Seriously?

Wow! You know, I have read some really compelling reasons, both pro and con, why Ladybug and Chat Noir should or should not reveal themselves, but the one argument that annoys me the most, is that it is somehow "superhero 101" that they should keep their identities secret from each other. This is so amazingly false that I cringe every time I see it expressed, and I don't even have to open a single comic book to prove it. In fact, I don't even have to go back more than twenty years of superhero movies to prove it false. Batman and Robin (1997) Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson know each other on both sides of the mask. X-men? They know each other too. Fantastic Four? Them too. The Avengers? Again, they all know each other on both sides of the mask. Even the Justice League, which comprises most superheroes in the DC universe, they all know who each other are. So no, it's NOT superhero 101, no matter what you might want to think.

Remember, Sasuke had told that he wanted to revive his clan. It doesn't make sense Sasuke leaving Konohagakure after Sarada. Or as a matter of fact, he wanted a family. If he has it now, why leave the village?

Also remember that Kishi explained Sasuke’s absence.Sasuke left to learn more about Kaguya’s origins and to find a way to prevent her from coming back/anyone else becoming like her and such.

Given how long and how much planning and manipulation went into Kaguya’s return, it makes sense it would take Sasuke a long time to complete his mission, especially seeing as he’s working alone.

He came back long enough after The Last to marry Sakura and see the birth of his first child, I think we should be happy for that.

He’ll be coming back next chapter, and we all know there’s gonna be some big dramatic reunion.

Let’s not forget that the only way to revive Kaguya requires the Rinnegan, which requires the Sharingan + Senju DNA. This would make Sarada a TARGET of anyone trying revive Kaguya. Also, if Yamato didn’t have kids, and we know that Tsunade doesn’t have any, then the closest living offspring to the Senju, would be the Uzumakis, i.e.- Naruto’s kids. People have said this so many times.

Ships do not become canon ‘for money’.

Here are the two situations when a ship would be ‘canonized’ for money:

Marvel or DC comics, where they go on endlessly and need reasons for people to keep reading when their stories constantly repeat themselves and there will never be true resolution to things that need resolution.

A series which hinges upon a love triangle or harem of some sort, in which one pairing is MASSIVELY popular and another or others are MASSIVELY unpopular, wherein a pairing is made canon and then the series is expected to continue on for an indefinite amount of time, meaning that pissing off the majority of the fanbase would potentially kill it. (incidentally what usually happens is that most of the harem choices are about evenly popular, so the lead refuses to choose)

Here are the situations where a ship would have no reason whatsoever to be canonized for money:

Literally any other situation

Especially situations where both sides of a ship war have strong support

Extremely when the series is ending so there’s no more money to be made anyway.

Supremely so when the story has up until that point ignored all other input of the fandoms in favor of what the author or studio want to do.

If you’re a person who believes Naruto would be forcing himself to be with Hinata for years and years just to keep her happy even if he’s not, then you really don’t know his character. He isn’t cruel enough to make her believe he loved her and lie to her their entire relationship. He’s with her because he wants to be, because he loves her. If he didn’t, he would be straightforward and honest with his feelings, which she would understand and she’d appreciate that honesty. If you think otherwise, then you’re just bitter that your fav didn’t end up with the hero, even though you don’t care about Naruto at all.

Fighting for someone else is not a failure of a goal. I so often see this in complaints. ‘Oh, they need find their own reason to fight/live.’

What does that even mean? Its arbitrary as hell. To live or fight for a person isn’t weakness.

Doean’t help its often still not true for folks that are bashed with it.

The worst part of this, in the Naruto fandom, is that this is true of Naruto himself(he says himself that he lives and fights for his friends). But when another character does it, especially if they are female, then they are suddenly “weak” and “useless.” Funny that…

Thinking I may write a flash forward to Part 2 of Child of Destiny, to use all the art gabzilla-z has done for me and actually show the characters at those steps.

Please don't. As much as I want to see the characters at the point those artworks show, I want even more to see/read how they GET to that point!
