If you’ll ask me what’s my favorite anime/manga my answer will always be Super Gals/Gals! by Mihona Fujii. I remember the first time I watched its anime. It was rainy saturday morning back in 6th grade. I remember falling in love with Aya Hoshino and Rei Otohata’s character at first sight. Even though their relationship was not smooth sailing in the beginning of the series I’m quite satisfied with how it ended in the manga. (That’s why I prefer the manga over anime). I also cried with Aya when Rei rejected her many times especially when he admitted he loved Ran. They were my OTP. I wrote multiple fanfictions about them. That’s why seeing Mihona Fujii Sensei tweeting a photo of them together (probably years after the manga ended) made me so happy. I’m so happy with Aya because she deserved it. I’m happy I rooted for her. I’ve seen all her efforts since the beginning and it’s all worth it. Looking at this illustration photo made me realize what Rei said about how she won by perseverance and that he’s now inlove with Aya. Twelve year old me is crying. 😭😘 The ship has sailed! ❤💕😍

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s okay for writing to be a HOBBY that you do because you enjoy, and that you don’t want to do when you’re not enjoying it. No one’s up in the business of knitters telling them they have to be willing to SUFFER and SWEAT or they’ll NEVER FINISH THAT SWEATER and they can’t expect good things to come to them. I don’t know why our current culture around writing is so intense, but I’m here to support your casual, relaxing writing habit. If people can glue pompoms together or knit a scarf or watch hours of streaming shows with their spare time there’s absolutely no reason writers can’t waste time writing just for pleasure, without any expectation that they’re going to Achieve something Amazing and Important or make a bunch of money or whatever.

My problem is that while I love waking up early, I also fucking hate going to bed early. It's unreasonable, 24 hours is simply not enough time to get everything done each day. I'm a busy man with plenty to do, I should be allowed to go to bed at 2 am and wake up at 5 am and get a solid 8 hours of sleep in the middle. Like why is that too much to ask.
