I have question about purchasing a suppressor. Can anyone purchase one or what are the restrictions etc?

I believe that is a class 3 controlled item and you must also purchase a tax stamp to obtain one. They are controlled in a similar vein to short barreled rifles and automatic weapons. I’m a little rusty on my firearm legalities tho.
