I really like the new Sure deodorant advert. For once, a feminine hygiene product (deodorant obviously applies to men too, but this was Sure deodorant specifically for women) advert that didn't include a white, tall, typically beautiful woman (along the lines of blonde hair/blue eyes type) floating about cheerfully, and when something like sweating gets in her way she simply smiles and uses the product and her life is back to the usual, perfect, happy-go-lucky way it was before.
This Sure advert bases it's selling point on the fact that women are strong (literally saying that). We work hard, and we sweat. It has several women of varying sizes and ethnicity (perhaps not an astounding amount of variety, but a remarkable improvement on other adverts).
I just thought I'd put this out there, because I don't think I've mentioned how much I hate adverts like Always adverts. I mean, 'have a happy period', ugh, I say a mental 'fuck you' every time I hear that.
