The one where... Scully & Doggett investigate a killer with X-ray vision who shoots his victims through solid walls.
Best: ... Tracing the pathway of the bullet up to the roof was kind of fun investigative work?
Worst: The suspects are all unpleasant and we spend so much time with them! Some of my least favorite episodes are the ones that spend most of the screen time with other characters - it takes great writing and acting to make me care immediately about one-off characters. And the episodes where none of our main characters are Taking! It! Personally! really suffer in making me care about the outcome of the case. Overall just unmemorable, I can never remember what this one and the next episode Salvage are about or which one’s which.

Fun music going on here
This guy’s really losing it
Gross
Well, the police should have listened to him
Scully’s hair is an art form
This looks very green-screened but I don’t think it is
Scully’s wearing green so much lately
Somehow exterminators are involved with this
Ahh there’s the message from the phone booth
He’s got like...rats….again
Ew dead rats
I don’t know what’s going on
There’s some kind of link between the real estate company and the exterminator
Doggett always calls her Agent...fine I guess
Hello ma’am
Scully’s going science mode!!
So...she’s conjecturing that this guy could have x-ray vision
What a Mulder thing to do
I’m fighting to stay awake for some reason
Why can’t I keep my eyes open
It’s not that the episode is boring me, I’m just tired all of the sudden
Uh oh
She accidentally left the car running
I deadass fell asleep or something
It’s about a stalker apparently
Alright so, imma be fully honest here...I fully fell asleep at this point, and that’s all you need to know about this episode
Consensus: I fell asleep.
3 out of 5 stars
The way Doggett references Elvis under completely ludicrous circumstances the way Mulder would. :(
Edit: This is actually S8 E8
How important is it to watch S8 E6 "Surekill"?
Should be seen on every watch & rewatch
Required viewing, recommended for rewatch but not essential
You should watch it at least once, but after that fair game
Depends on how much time you have, if need be can skip
This episode is entirely superfluous, okay to skip
This episode is superfluous AND sucks, SKIP
This episode sucks, but is necessary, WATCH
Summary: The fatal shooting of a realtor while alone in a cinderblock jail cell has Doggett hoping motive will yield more than method, but they soon learn that there is more to this case than meets the eye.
Scully, ma'am, you did not just place your fist into fiberglass... sure go ahead and move it around with your palm, can't see anything wrong with that
