“Where the hell have you been, JJ?”

He doesn’t answer her, just shrugs and keeps working on taking off his boots.

“Seriously, JJ. You had us worried” She only calls him JJ when things are serious and/or she’s pissed at him.

She’s pissed at him, that’s obvious but he has no strength right now to feel anything about it

“Jage, you had me worried sick”

That breaks him.

He doesn’t know what happened tonight.

Doesn’t understand what happened tonight.

Doesn’t know anything about anything now to be honest.

How can he explain it to her when he doesn’t even know himself?

Give yourself a reason

“Fuck!” JJ hits his head back into the wall once

“Yeah” John B nods “You’re going through hell but she also went through part of it because she loves you and would never let go of your fucking hand. So i’m begging you to do something for her”

Groff trying to stab him didn’t hurt as much as this.

They have enough years of friendship that JJ knows John B is doing it on purpose.

And its working.

“You’re self sabotaging. You don’t want to give yourself a reason to pull yourself out of your self imposed grave or to not give up on yourself. I really don’t know what you’re doing or why but I’m trying to make you see that you do have a reason” John B wishes he could open JJ’s skull and tattoo it all over his brain that they love him, that they would never let go of him no matter what and that he doesn’t have to keep proving himself to them. “I’ll burn in hell before I’ll let you die and watch her live without you”

Basically just John B reminding JJ that he has a reason to not give up on life.

“Yo, Kie, get up”

“No, too early” Kiara says into her pillow, not even bothering to open her eyes

“C’mon, we’re going surfing” JJ pulls the covers from her “It’s surprisingly warm today and it’s probably the last time we can surf this year, so we are going”

“I don’t have my board” She curls into herself, hoping JJ will feel sorry for her and give her blankets back so she can go back to sleep

“Yeah you do” he doesn’t give up, opening the blinds and moving to her dresser “We’ll be taking our longboards, the waves are calmer and I thought we could do calmer”

Kiara gives up on trying to go back to sleep when JJ tosses her bikini, knowing he will keep pestering her until she relents. It’s not like she has even said no to a normal, safe surf session

You’re full of love (and wild and free)

For right now they are safe, they are warm and cozy. Right now Peter has his girlfriend laying under his arm with her head on his chest, she’s playing absently with his hand while her focus is on the screen. May and Happy are background noise to their little bubble. If he closed his eyes, he could almost pretend he was a normal teen cuddling on the sofa with a normal life. Probably Peter Parker was never born to a normal life, maybe he was always fated to not be normal even if Mysterio had never happened or if he wasn’t an Avenger before senior year.

The calm before the storm. A few days before the whole shit show that was the middle/end of No way home, Peter gets to enjoy a simple Sunday afternoon surrounded by most of the people he loves the most in the world. Hearing May and Happy laughing while cuddling with MJ on the sofa, stealing moments wherever they can, he feels happy. (NWH Missing moments)

All he did was fail her when all he wanted was to make her proud.

He's too weak. Everything is too loud. The lights are too bright. His head pounds. His whole body hurts.

But he can hear MJ’s heart beating, a little too fast but still beating. Her hands are still holding him carefully, still soft. He needs to pull himself together so he can get back into the lab and help himself fix the devices so she can still live, still graduate, still go to college and maybe get married someday in the future to a nice guy who will treat her well and not screw her life like he is doing.

So that’s what he focuses on- her.

Here we are again (when I loved you so)

Look MJ doesn’t know what made her kiss a stranger, all she knew was his name and that he was a regular who always ordered black coffee with tons of sugar probably to make the bad coffee drinkable.

However from the moment he first walked in the shop, her body felt things she couldn’t explain.

What’s the point of sleep (if it’s not with you)?

Sarah knew her boyfriend and his friends were a very touchy group - including Kiara who proclaims she isn’t a fan of physical contact, what she didn’t expect was for it to extend for their sleep.

What surprised her the most was that two of them seemed to always find themselfs in sleeping in each others arms.
