How about a #MosriteMonday for a change? 😀 . This is my buddy @marcus_addam_w's 1986/7 #Mosrite #Ventures model, spotted on my visit to @sherwoodkw on the weekend. . This #guitar was handmade by Semie Moseley in 1986/87 and is hand signed by him on the back of the heafstock (swipe left - unfortunately he signed in what looks to be pencil, so its very faint. But it says "Semie Moseley 987", with 987 presumably being Mosrite shorthand for 1987! 😄) Dig the top carve (no doubt a stylistic cue Mosely borrowed from his tenure building guitars for #Rickenbacker in the 50s?) and fun double dot markers. I feel like plugging it in to a blonde #Fender piggyback amp, tipped back on its extendable legs, and basting "Wipeout" with two other guys wearing similar outfits, playing similar #guitars into similar #amps, lined up side by side on a Japanese stage circa 1966! . Also, I believe this guitar has the distinction of being the first Mosrite I've ever done in the almost 7 years I've been on Instagram. I may be mistaken though...so if anyone feels like scrolling back through my almost 8,000 posts to prove me wrong you are very welcome to do so! 😆 . . #mosriteventures #mosriteguitars #semiemoseley #vintageguitars #vintagemoserite #surfguitar #theventures #guitarphotography https://www.instagram.com/p/CFHVm3OhJta/?igshid=4fadabkg2ifv
