Excited to be at the #Ölzbündt housing development by Architekten #HermannKaufmann. The project was built in 1997, and Kaufmann simplified the prefabricated timber construction developed for this project to make it accessible to any construction company. The simplified system was used on several subsequent housing projects. Ölzbündt is lookin real nice after 20 years--they're having a party to celebrate the anniversary later in the month. I was lucky to speak with a couple of neighbors on site who told me their thoughts on the project, and offered to send around my building survey.
