She is a new face in Hawkins, but not yet ab unwelcome one. She supposes that's just a matter of time of course, because city transplants have a way of pissing off the locals anywhere they go and Auric made people in Massachusetts mad so it wouldn't take long for her half brother to drive someone insane in Indiana. She looks around the classroom for an empty desk, shoving her hands into the pockets of her cardigan as she sees an open desk near the back of the room, there's a boy already sitting in the desk beside it.

"This seat taken?" It comes out a bit rougher than she intended and she feels her face suddenly start to turn red. So much for hiding the accent.

Cara managed to reach the front door with the two girls in tow - the oldest of which couldn’t have been more than eight - opening it only to find herself face to face with a man on the sidewalk. She didn’t know him, she had no idea if she should trust them with him, but anything was better than them being in that house. So she ushered the girls towards him, calling out, “Get them as far away as possible!” A second later, the rawhead appeared behind her, grabbing onto her shoulder to the point where its nails dug into her flesh before it pulled her back inside and the door slammed shut.

Jenna listened to his words and she thought her heart might beat out of her chest. Everything about Clark was perfect and she hated how she couldn’t think about any other man. Her friend had tried to set her up on blind dates but she just couldn’t commit, not when she knew Clark was waiting in Metropolis.

Jen was lucky she managed to get the same room every time she stayed, maybe it had something to do with who she was and that she could make the jump down if needed but it worked out well for her visitor.

“You really couldn’t wait to see me again huh?” She teased lightly, the smile on her lips matching his as she stared up into his eyes, getting lost in the sea of blue for a moment before she heard his words. It was said with without hesitation and so confidently that she was almost sure that her heart had stopped. “I think I could be persuaded with a kiss.” The smirk on her lips grew and she moved closer to Clark, standing up on the tips of her toes to press her lips to his.
