I know these halls way too well. Today is an especially hard day to be here after loosing my mother-in-law and old friend to cancer in 6 months time. Often I have guilt over how well I’ve done and survived. I have a stubborn fighting personality. While times I’ve been scared, I’ve never once believed I wouldn’t win. But today I’m sad for those less fortunate than me. To get mental strength today, I did yoga and a 500 yard backstroke and did some shopping therapy. Before I left for the hospital, Hank pup seemed to know exactly what I was thinking. He gently sat down by me and placed his paw on me and stared in my eyes. Pups have a strange way of letting you know you’ll be ok. Say a prayer for anyone you know that had or has cancer. They need you. ❤️ #endochampion #endowarrior #chronicallyill #survivinglies (at Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGiZtMljV0h/?igshid=1wife57dx44ml
