It's a pin badge!!! Runs on a CR2032 coin cell battery, and it's super easy to use because it's just on/off, and then the thumbwheel settings. The idea was kind of that communicating your spoons level is hard work and can involve so much explaining, vs an easy to read little display? Idk.

Very simple, im too sick for that. Its annoying how judgmental some anons can be, first of all, even asking this question is a bit rude even if that wasnt ur intent. I know people will say its because of my mutual aid that this was asked but that still doesnt deem a random public explanation. If someone off anon who wanted to donate wants to know, thats different. But mutual aid is a choice. If you dont like it, unfollow me.

Id also like to add that all these dx, and the fact i have been approved for permanent disability (still 25% below the poverty line), i am legitimately disabled whether yall think so or not.

I will block any anon from here on out that is rude about mutual aid, like the anon I got //before// this one. A question about my disabilities or health is one thing but being disrespectful or ableist is a no go. Im not 16 anymore and i will not tolerate it.

So, I've started a Discord server to be able to live stream neighborhood/trail walks for homebound folks with disabilities (or anyone else who wants to join in). Joining involves reading the rules and being manually approved for access to try and keep the bots out.

Check out the Walks With Friends community on Discord - hang out with 14 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.

There's no set schedule for when I'll be doing outings ( #chronicillnesslife ), but I'll try to send an announcement beforehand at least 30min in advance, and anyone else who wants to host a walk is welcome to do so as well. There are also text/voice channels for general socializing purposes. My hope is to foster a low key, friendly space for disabled folks and allies. I myself love to chat, but no chatting is necessary! Once you've indicated that you've read the rules, feel free to lurk if that's what you're comfortable with 🙂
