The perils of working from home during covid-19 quarentine... My coworkers are constantly yelling at me from the break room, staring out the windows & taking naps instead of actually working, then they sit on my desk and stare without blinking at me for what seems like hours. They also think it perfectly acceptable to groom themselves and cleanse their nether regions in my office, then they try to block my screen to get attention or type on my keyboard while I am trying to write! I dont think they are washing their hands much either, just their arms and faces, which is so weird! Worse of all if I take a break, they try to steal my lunch, want to sit on my lap, knead my chest vigorously or try to stick their butts in my face. During office yoga sessions they refuse to social distance and sit on my mat with me. They are not even teaching the class and they try and stand on me in poses like they are Bikram or something. Its really intolerable. Not sure if I can continue working here under such conditions! 😂 Dont forget to laugh too... I spent much of my walk today focused on the ground. All of the small green things emerging from the forest floor...including flowers! I couched, I kneeled, at times almost prone I took time to admire the persistence of nature. To admire the idea that without human intervention, the most beautiful landscapes surround us. We just need to pay attention. We dont need to try to control everything. We can just let things happen because sometimes we have no control...and that's okay. We can make the choice to just let some things be...and that's okay.
