It's a great resource, but when used by folks who have trouble recognizing emotions, it becomes more of a guessing game than a tool. In my professional work, I return with clients over and over to the work of listening to the signals their body is bringing them. So often, making these connections between felt sensations and the message they are speaking plays a huge role in growth and healing, so I wanted to create a resource that could help prompt more integrative mind-body conversations about the experience of emotions. . . . Emotions and their felt sense aren't one size fits all! Most readers will definitely respond "oh, that's not true for me!" to at least a few entries on the circle: and that IS part of the process: owning and rejecting creates connections and build awareness of what is and is not true in our own microuniverse of a body. . . . .
