Mistaken Beliefs | Eleven and Susan
Earth again. Not for any specific reason this time, just... Earth. It was comforting, almost like a second home. Then again, that was what the planet had pretty much become, to him. His home no longer really existed, and everyone he loved existed here, at some point in time.
It was just nice to stop by every now and then.
He'd spent a lot of time thinking about Amy and Rory lately, and how they were doing. Every time he came close to visiting, though, he had to rethink. They wanted to get on with their lives — no, they needed to. And he knew that. He just couldn't help it sometimes.
The TARDIS was parked in what he hoped was an inconspicuous location, on the edge of a grassy field. The Doctor himself was sitting on a bench a few feet away, discussing the finer points of quantum mechanics with a pigeon.
The pigeon didn't seem all that interested.
