wowahg you’ve got a lot of ocs
number 21 for the ask game! feel free to do any/all of them!!
thanks! they are not at all equally given attention lmao
21. Why did they join the Company?
It's mostly just 'cause they didn't have anywhere else to go, but there are a few outliers
Carmilla was persuaded by Yi Sang; this was actually the first time she left a job for a different job without faking her death or just seemingly vanishing off the face of the earth.
Susano-o specifically joined after being promised they'd help him track down Orochi.
Valentine was straight up abducted out of her commune by the LCA.
Wukong was probably found by the LCCB and then fast-tracked to the Bus department after a stint in the hospital (they did find her pinned under a big pile of rubble)
Geppetto joined to get out of death row. This is pretty much his parole.
Beowulf might've actually been the first sinner to join, period. I'm thinking of re-ordering the bus around, and if I do, he'll be the new #12.
My friend calls him the failwife and y’know what they’re so right.
Ref pic for those of you who meme
mysterious blue god, Aogami but he actually looks like what he’s supposed to be

Futsunushi’s swords are meant to be Yayoi and Kofun period bronze swords, frequently found in burial mounds as a status symbol, and likely often imported from the continent. Susano-o’s Kusanagi is patterned after the Seven-Branched Sword ( 七支刀) from the Isonokami Shrine, though with an additional branch added, without a doubt as a nod to the myth in which he recovers the weapon from the body of the eight-headed serpent Yamato no Orochi. Kaneko kept its design consistent between his two Susano-o designs, but sadly Yamato Takeru in SMTIV has a very differently looking sword, despite also using Kusanagi in relevant myths. It’s also worth noting that the Seven-Branched Sword is thought to be a gift from the king of Baekje, a Korean kingdom, and the newer Susano-o’s crown resembles the famous Korean ones from the same time period. It might also be meant to evoke the “Land of Roots” (Ne no Kuni, 根の国) where Susano-o was said to dwell in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.
