World War I: German submarine U-20 sank RMS Lusitania off the southern coast of Ireland on May 7, 1915, killing 1,198 people, including 128 Americans. Public reaction to the sinking turns many formerly pro-Germans in the United States against the German Empire.

I think of you every night when my fingers wander over the empty pillow, and thoughts twist like smoke from a fire - quiet, hot, restless.

I miss the warmth of your hands. Your gaze, which undresses me more than anyone's hands.

When I close my eyes, I see you above me. I feel your breath, your touch, your whisper that promises - I will never leave you.

But I do not ask you to stay. I know that your heart longs for freedom, and your soul - it is a wild mustang. Unbridled, untamed.

So I only ask for one thing - Remember that I am out there somewhere, and that I am waiting.
