Wandering. Tidus & Kain.
It was only six months. Six long, hard months since Tidus washed up on the shores of Baron. The blue planet was an interesting place, to say the least. During this time, he'd just been drifting. Never staying in one town long. He moved so much due to dissatisfaction. No matter where he stayed, nothing seemed to make him feel exactly at home. Though Rosa and Golbez were kind enough, he just felt uneasy. Tidus almost visited every town on the entire world. However, Tidus was told, perhaps if he'd climed MT. Ordeals, he'd find a purpose -- something to fulfill himself.
There he stood, at the base of the mighty mountain. Tidus felt nervous -- could a mountain truly help him? Could he really regain all he'd lost just by reading the summit? It seemed impossible -- no, Tidus was sure it was impossible.
Nevertheless, Tidus couldn't help but be curious. What if the mountain really could? He heard a rumor of a man named Cecil who reached the summit, and completely changed his path in life. If it worked for him, maybe there was hope yet.
Hope.. that was something I learned not to rely too much on.
Tidus started up the path of the mountain. It didn't seem there would be any easy way to climb, at all. Just as he'd reached a fork in the road, a beast bellowed; rushing down the path headed straight for Tidus.
Brotherhood sword appeared in his hand; Tidus awaited the beast in his usual ready-for-anything stance. "Bring it!"
