Kirei cannot stand it when people are too optimistic. Whether that be because of his innate dislike for joy and trust, or disdain for foolhardiness, it is difficult to say. However, he is quick to swoop in and remind people of a dark truth if he sees them acting too easy-going or cheerful.

✣ : Physical disability/disadvantage

While Kirei has no major physical disadvantages most of the time, if his Black Heart is destroyed, he is automatically scheduled for death. It is the only thing that keeps his body running since his revival, and therefore is his one and only weak spot on his entire body. Keeping it protected and unexposed is Kirei’s prerogative when it comes to fighting. 

✰ : Weird thing they want to try or have tried

Kirei’s one major experiment was marriage. In order to try being more ‘human,’ he decided he would take a wife. And he did. It didn’t end well, to be certain. He’s not interested in trying again…although now that Claudia has resurfaced, it might become more and more of a boon for Kirei, emotionally….
