You never expected to encounter so many noble hoofbeasts in Hive City. Being a location so urban in quality with lack of forests and prairies, there was a lack of a reason for such glorious creatures to grace others with their presence. Despite that, you have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of hoofbeasts here that have allowed you to enter their presence.

Nightmare and Night Mare (closed)

The Nightmare Knight had been so used to taking evening strolls that he decided, for once, to try wandering around the city in the middle of the day. He didn't care for the heat, nor for some of the simulated crowds screaming as he tried to walk down the main roads. None of the sectors, really, seemed to enjoy him walking down the bigger streets, and it didn't help that he couldn't fit into most of the alleyways and back streets without causing damage to something.

It wasn't a very fun experience, especially given the loss of his custom sun hat those weeks ago, when it was lost during the Pariah invasion. Admittedly, traveling at night had its advantages, but he was going to try new things while in Hive City, no matter the cost. It wasn't as if anyone really kept an eye on him. The Nightmare Knight, by and large, wasn't too dangerous in comparison to most people in the city. All he really had was teleportation, and even that was limited.

However, he still had to do something, and his best choice was simply to get out of these crowds. He was, after all, bothering them, and in return they were bothering him. Nightmare Knight decided to make use of his limited teleportation power, and he found himself now in Sector 6, in one of the open park expanses. It was still hot, and he was still out in the midday sun, but at least the crowds were far more sparse.

He sit down on a simple bench, and tried to relax. Living in Hive City could really take it out on you, when you were three stories tall and looked evil.

Being that Vergil is more or less an insomniac (and when he isn't, he suffers night terrors), he and Luna hang out and appreciate the night sometimes. Eventually, once she gets her dreamwalking abilities back, she sometimes uses it (probably without his knowledge, all things considered) to help fight off his nightmares.

I'm totally not writing the drabble prompt you sent me a while back as basically that except Vergil is but a tiny colt oh wait no yeah I am
