Dear Gus & Magnus,
I had what I think is my final make-up session for Leadership Greater Little Rock today. We started the day with a tour of the Pulaski County Jail. Trust me when I say you don't want to go there. We spoke to the sheriff and guards. We toured the intake (where a man took off his clothes in front of us and started rubbing his bare-ass against the confines of his cell) and visited a locked-down unit for males, which was only guarded by two tiny female prison guards. It really was terrifying. We also met with federal prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, and detectives. My big takeaway was that we need more mental health professionals.
