🎀 I just reviewed this cute historical romance on my blog and goodreads. Overall, I thought it was a fun quick romance (no smut). This originally published in 2009 but @berkleyromance recently re-published it. This new edition is out now.⠀ .⠀ Mr. Malcom’s List is being made into a movie and it has such a diverse cast with Gemma Chan, Freido Pinto, and Sope Dirisu. Both female characters are Asian and we have a Black hero! I know it’s not historically accurate but I think it works for a historical rom com. I’ve always loved regency-era historical romances and always imagined what it would be like to wear the gowns and go to balls. To see Asian women in a leading role (or even in a supporting role) is like young Sue living vicariously through the actresses.⠀ .⠀ 🎀 #QOTD: If money or the pandemic wasn’t an issue, what country would you want to travel to? I would love to go visit Ireland one day. Also my husband and I had vague plans to go to Korea in 2021 since he hasn’t gone back in over 20 yrs ago. Not sure if that will happen now but I hope we can go.⠀ .⠀ 🎀 “It is a truth universally acknowledged that an arrogant bachelor insistent on a wife who meets the strictest of requirements--deserves his comeuppance.”⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ ⠀ #bookreview mrmalcomslist #suzanneallain #netgalley #romcombooks #romancebooks #bookstagram #bookgram #booklove #bookcover #booktomovie #berkleyromance #romancereader #historicalromance #amreading #booksofig #bookworm #bookcommunity #booknerd #bookblogger #bookblog #beautybookcorner (at San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDfBuVGg9zp/?igshid=194095ermgzxw
