I am a new reading blog on Tumblr where I review books and give my honest opinion and rating, discuss themes and topics that may be presented in the literature, clarify and help make classics easier to understand, participate in civil book debates with my followers, and even say if I believe a movie adaptation is worth seeing or not or how close to it stays to its original source material.

The gorgeous, clever, funny, feminist, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. She is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. Then. . . .

After. Nothing is ever the same.

Love, friendship,self discovery, first-time experiences, life, death, before, after, finding meaning in life and learning to forgive. That is what Looking for Alaska is all about

**Review:**

This is one of those stories that is so difficult to summarize/review.

''Looking for Alaska'' reminded me so much of ''The Perks of Being a Wallflower''. There was definitely the same vibe of boy goes to new school, boy is quiet, boy meets loud friends and boy falls in love.

This novel like most of John Green’s novels is terribly sad. It was painful to go through the second part of the book the #after , but over all I enjoyed it and the characters are relatable and easy to love. There are so many great quotes and moments in this story.

The screen adaptation is just as much enjoyable and wonderful as the novel. I think the producers did an excellent job. I highly recommend both the novel and the tv show.

I’m thinking of ending things (2020)

I suspect humans are the only animals that know the inevitability of their own death. Other animals live in the present, humans cannot. So they invented hope.

A young woman takes a trip with her boyfriend to meet his parents.

Honestly, this is it. A woman and his boyfriend travel to his parents’ farm to meet them. Doesn’t sound special.does it? Well you can say that it’s a story quite simple. But the way you see it. That’s what makes it special. And all you need is an open mind. This movie steps out of the ordinary and presents things in such a unique way. I can’t say that i blame those, who say they didn’t like this movie. And I agree with everything i have read about it, because everyone saw something else in it. That’s why you need the open mind. This is a complete metaphor movie. So don’t start expecting the ordinary. Things will happen and you will start questioning them. Charlie Kaufman once more gives us something we expect, which is a movie that we never expected! See what I did there? Go check it out if you haven’t already, it will be worth it.
