Maid Monday, the sub-series where I post and rate maid designs.

Today's Maid, the Maids from Maid to Skate/Maid Skater, with art and story by Suzushiro.

At first glance the Maid uniforms in Maid to Skate seem rather simle, something I've been critical for in the past, however the more I look into the designs, the more I appricate about them.

For starters the art quality and style is simply amazing. Many tradiotnal designs I've looked at before have been lower ranked due to the blandness that unfortunatly comes, however Suzushiro's art quality deffinatly raises these simple designs into something a lot nicer.

There's also a lot of careful care given to the movment and weight of the fabric which also elevates it.

The design itself is also verry well done, with practical heels and a nice skirt length, and of course many frills and a big bow.

Another detail I love is the differential in the Maids ranking and how it shows with their uniforms.

The lowest ranked maids use bowties

While the higher ranked members have ties

And finally the head maid has a brooched.

Finally if it isn't obvious from what I've shown so far, the characters have a nice veriety in their character designs which is a nice thing to see with Maids. These designs could have been very by the numbers, but the pure passion given to them elevate them to a uniform tier.
