my manager finally calls me the right pronouns so i get your vibe!!! the customers never figure it out even when i wear my pronoun button, but at least my coworkers are getting it! i'm sending my best wishes to you and everyone else who has to deal with constant misgendering in customer service <3

i want to wear my pronoun buttons at work so bad but 1. we have to wear ones approved by starbucks (which they’ve started making but my manager keeps forgetting to order some) and 2. like i said most of our clientele is older folks and while educating them is a hopeful goal i also know it would start a lot of unneeded arguments with those less open-minded and i’d rather not... instigate? or be seen as instigating anyway

i’m glad your coworkers are starting to get the hang of it though! when a coworker slips up pronoun usage and they do the awkward babbling apology i just hold up my hand and say ‘you just made it a bigger deal then it was. just correct yourself -- don’t search for excuses before you do’ and it’s helped moderately

I love the idea and all the possibilities it could bring! I agree with it not being appless, too, but not as full blown as a complete "literate" rp? For a little bit of wiggle room? (I'm not well versed in the lingo but hopefully you know what I mean!)
