5/11.2024 - love this rainbow house i saw in Svendborg today.
J.P. Møller (Oct. 5, 1783 - 1854) was a Danish landscape painter who was a contemporary and life long friend of Eckersberg - they roomed together in Paris. Møller trained at the Academy under Abildgaard and C.A. Lorentzen and later became a professor there himself.

Saint Nicholas’ church is the oldest in Svendborg, Denmark, and it is dedicated to the patron saint of seamen. This votive ship was donated by 37 captains and ships' mates in 1845.
