Okay, general pinned post because it's gonna bug me otherwise.

Hi. I'm Lyric, otherwise known as svntax. I'm a transfemme furry music nerd and writer, and those two things collide to make reviews of albums and songs.

You can find the bulk of my work on RYM, the perpetual loser's website. I also write about non-music things (very rarely) on Everything2, the perpetual cool people's website.

I'm also 1/2 of the duo Faith Parade, putting poetry and songs I write to music produced by my best friend. We have one album and an EP so far and you should listen to both of them!

Other than that, you can find me on Twitter (functionally inactive), Bluesky (which I will try and use more when Twitter finally bites the dust), and Instagram (ironically, where I'm most active—I repost to my story often).

Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter - SAVED! (A Review)

Today, I listened to the debut album from Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter.

I was kind of expecting a casual listen. I do not know why. Hayter's work is never really something you can listen to more casually.

But I didn't realize just how this record would seize me.

ALEPH - Sepulchre (A Review)

ALEPH's sophomore album, SEPULCHRE, has been released today. I was very excited, especially after such a strong debut with EGO DEATH. I was very happy to finally be able to take a full look at it, and I was not disappointed.
