Okay first, yes she acted a bit childish last week but I mean.. Haven't we all done or said stupid shit like this under stress?

Carisi was her partner. Someone she trusted entirely and felt she could rely on no matter what. Now it feels like he's more concerned with impressing Hadid (fuck Hadid tbh) than he is about the victims and by extension of that, herself and the rest of the squad. They had three damn cases running back to back with one another, they were swamped and stressed. Her reaction was stress related, he struck a nerve that was already exposed more than usual because of how overworked they are.

She's happy for him, of course she is. She hadn't meant it like that.. We've all said things we don't mean. Cut her at least some slack here you guys.

I'm not saying that excuses it entirely but I am saying that the entire squad was on edge and Amanda's always been a vocal person so when something bugs her she'll say something.

She's impulsive and we've known this since we met her. This whole thing is actually very in character for her. I just wish the writers wouldn't rely so heavily on that particular character trait while trying to give her screen time..
