I just finished listening to the Sanctuary, and my first thought is, I have to read it because I know I missed things while listening to the audiobook (highly recommend the audiobook. It just pulls you in). And the 2nd thought is that this book shows a deeper version of each character that I love. It goes into their traumas, how they're adjusting to changes, and the big thing for me is family and being open to something new. I know some people feel the characters aren't being what they want them to be, but I think the author did one hell of a job.
Oh and here's a spoiler so please stop reading now, to stay spoiled free:
Yes Omega didn't feel the same love for Crosshair at this point, but to me, thats to be expected. He actively tried to kill her and his brothers, so yes, it's 100% probable that her feelings shifted, but she never closed that door. She loves, but that love was damaged and not as strong at that point in the timeline. But she never hesitated to rescue him. So for those who are whining about that, please sit way the fuck down and learn to understand human emotions better.
Ok time to decompression and cry about this Star Wars story.
