I added a bit more to one of the events in the SWC2 script. It's one of Kanetsugu's events, where he talks about how white is the colour of honour. If the other response is selected, Hanbei chirps in with a "Squids are also white." clearly a very important line because now Kanetsugu is canonically confirmed to be a squid in disguise, thank you Hanbei

also I found something about one of oichi's new events and oh my god I have no words for it. I don't have a complete script for the event and I'm only piecing it together from fanblogs and this 2ch post so it may not be completely accurate but anyway.

So, Nagamasa, Oichi and Takatora were taking a walk together when Oichi saw a beautiful flower on a tree. Unfortunately, the flower was too high up for her to reach. Naturally, Takatora did what any loyal retainer would do.

Takatora: Lady Oichi, I will be your step stool! Please stand on me!

Takatora got on all fours to be a step stool for Oichi.

Oichi: Eh, but… Nagamasa: In that case, I will be the step stool. Come, Oichi, you can stand on me.

Nagamasa also got on all fours to be a stool for Oichi.

Apparently Takatora and Nagamasa argued over who should be the stool, with Takatora saying "it's the retainer's duty!" and Nagamasa saying "it's the husband's duty!"

In the end, Takatora had a brilliant idea.

Takatora: In that case, let's do it this way. I will be the stool and Lord Nagamasa will stand on me. Lady Oichi will stand on Lord Nagamasa. Nagamasa: Both of us can fulfill our duties that way. That's clever, Takatora! You're the only one who can understand my wish!

Based on the answer options in the wiki, it seems like MC's helpful advice was either "step on either one" or "I am the one who will be Oichi's stool!" A+ super helpful.

I figured this might be of interest to people who understand Japanese, so I'll drop the link here. That google doc contains the transcript for all SWC2 events I can find online. It's not a complete collection of course, but there's still quite a lot there.

I categorise the events by Story events and Character events. Story events are the events that appear before and after a battle, and are sorted by route and stage. Character events are events that are unlocked by picking a character to talk to, and are listed following the order in the game wiki (which, in turn, is probably the order they are listed in the vault in the game). I transcribed the events that only appear in SWC2 since there's already a complete SWC script on gamefaqs. The format of the script isn't very consistent because I'm not a consistent person but should be easy enough to parse.

There are still a few more story events I haven't transcribed but this thing already took up so much time and I don't feel like touching it again for a while hahaha. I've already transcribed all character events I can find. If you know of any that aren't in the doc, do let me know! Or, if there are any typos and you want to check against the original video, do let me know too. I should be able to trace back which video they came from. The parts that are "???" are the parts where the video wasn't clear enough.

Edit: Almost forgot to say this - I have very vague plans to translate some of the events but "vague plans" = "maybe some time this year or next year if I feel like it", so if anyone wants to translate them, please go ahead!

SW Chronicles 2nd Mitsuhide Event

This event is only available after the Battle of Shimantogawa stage in the Chōsokabe route. From here (only the dialogue for the second answer option is shown.)

The Oda Envoy

The Chōsokabe clan began invading the provinces of Awa and Sanuki which were under the rule of the Miyoshi clan. At the same time, using the strategy of 'befriending a distant state while attacking your neighbours', they allied with the Oda clan who were also fighting against the Miyoshi clan. An important retainer of the Oda clan, Akechi Mitsuhide, visited the Chōsokabe clan to return the courtesy.

Mitsuhide: I will be the intermediary between Lord Nobunaga and the Chōsokabe clan. My name is Akechi Mitsuhide. Mitsuhide: If you have any request, please let me know. I intend to make sure things go well.

Motochika grinned broadly while staring intently at Mitsuhide.

1> Are you entranced by the radiance of his rebellion? 2> Are you interested in Mitsuhide?

2 Motochika: Jealous? Motochika: The spirit of rebellion dwelling deep inside Mitsuhide's eyes… For a second, I was entranced by it. Mitsuhide: The spirit of… rebellion…? Wh-What are you talking about… Motochika: You don't understand…? You will be aware of it one day, you likely won't be able to remain unaware of it.

Mitsuhide greeted MC. He hadn't changed from the time MC was with the Oda clan.

Mitsuhide: It's been a while, Lord MC. I'm glad to see that you're in good health. Mitsuhide: How do I say this… It looks like you're with someone who's in a bad state. Mitsuhide: However, I feel that I can understand why you're following Lord Motochika...

This event appears to be Mitsuhide and Motochika's first meeting in this game but funnily, Motochika has already met Gracia. Gracia is one of the default characters in this battle (probably because she was following Magoichi, who was there because of his job). During the battle, Motochika asks Gracia if he can be her friend too and Gracia's response was 'I'll think about it'.

SW3: Empires Tokugawa Story Path translation - Only a partial translation, but hopefully the overall storyline is understandable! This story path is pretty much a what-if scenario (what if Kiyomasa and Masanori were on Mitsunari's side) and the ending is rather unexpected.
