my favorite moments in sw fics is when people who work for Darth Vader harm Luke or do something stupid and then a trooper with brain cells says “hey this was against Lord Vader’s orders we’re dead” and then just. Darth spooky Vader™ appears behind them. because he hears everything. nobody knows how. nobody hears him coming. but he’s pissed. and then the troopers die and Vader doesn’t even realise what he’s done because his mind is working miles per hour and it’s all just Luke Luke Luke Luke like a carousel. moral of the story: do not touch Luke Skywalker, and if you did, run

Look at all those lovely things I got from @obsessions-and-dreams !!!! I love it all! The stickers and the dispenser and the clip and the lovely painting and the amazingly crocheted FO insignia and the scarf!!! So soft and fluffy! I can't wait for summer to hug the hell out of you :-)))

Based on the fact that Kyber crystals are used in creating/focusing the Deathstar’s beam, they would have to be unaffected by the blast. And given that Kyber crystals are used in lightsabers they obviously have elements of the Force naturally embedded in their structure, and the Force can act as a sheild.

Conclusion: It is completely scientificaly(ish) possible that Jyn’s Kyber necklace could have protected her (and by extension due to their embrace Cassian) from the blast.

milka you should ABSOLUTELY watch a) the mag 7 remake -- if only for goodnight and billy being cigarette-sharing old west old marrieds and vincent d'onofrio's wheezy voice -- AND b) the book of boba. i'm truly loving b right now, they're doing SUCH a good job of making boba likable, letting ming-na be a stone-cold badass, and making so much of the story about indigenous rights with the tuskens. LOVING IT.

hey angie b!! WELL i actually checked the imdb rating of the magnificent seven remake and it has 6.9 which, to me, is preeeetty much a sign that it might be great (i even have a whole letterboxd list dedicated to movies rated six point something on imdb bc, as it turns out, most of my favourite movies actually fit into that category soooo i rly like this for me!)

as for boba fett, i was planning on waiting till the entire season had come out to see when/if i would start watching (and i still do want to wait so i can binge it properly!) but i am so happy to hear you are loving it!!

We're only 3 episodes into Boba Fett so it could still go downhill, but so far it's my favorite Star wars installment? Definitely more on par with the Mandalorian than the various movies. (I've seen complaints that it's too slow and not action-y enough, but a. there's been plenty of action so far, and b. I'm enjoying actual character development haha)

oh that actually sounds lovely to me! especially 'cause i enjoy the mandalorian AND i love slow-paced shows... i think i'll probably have to check it out once the whole season's finished airing (thanks for telling me!)
