You know what I think is underrated?

Prey being A LOT stronger than the pred. They could absolutely *destroy* the pred if they wanted, but they don't

The prey is just letting themselves be eaten because they feel like it. They might simply find it convenient or comfortable. And if they ever became uncomfortable, they could get out.

Alternatively, the prey might just not want to hurt the pred or isn't inconvenienced/annoyed enough to bother doing anything about it, if they're unwilling

Bonus points if the pred is completly oblivious about the prey's strength and actively boasting about their own abilitys
