My top 10 pictures in one single day of some great #oceanviews at the #SwamisBeach in #Encinitas!
Encinitas is a small beach town in Southern California close to San Diego and is famous not only for its Self Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens that overlook the ocean but also the Swamis beach, a favorite surfing spot for surfers from around the world. I was there earlier this year and even though a storm was building up, I couldn't resist going down to the beach and clicking some pictures with my new iPhone 6S Plus. As it turned out, the beach had been washed away by the tide but I was still able to take some great pictures from the stairs that led to the beach. Interestingly, it was a great day for the surfers as the waves were big and I regretted not carrying my big lens to get some really cool shots of the surfers--but in the meantime, I quite enjoyed taking the pictures that I present below. :)
