While I’m being sentimental.. I often wonder if Severus is out there. I wish for many things but the one thing I wish for the most is that he didn’t have to die. He was more of a father to me than Lucius ever was and he paid for it.

I do, on many occasions, miss my son. I miss when he was small and soft and smelled of milk and magic. When he began to crawl and then walk — walking was the worst. It meant that one day, he might find the strength to walk out of my life. Thank Merlin he never did.
