17. a fact about my life :)
Uhhhh. This is so vague! There are so many facts about my life I could tell!
Um… Today I learned how to crawl over someone, be flipped over on my back, and then how to flip the person back so I’m on top again.
I did a play in the spring and we cut it down and now we’re performing it for about 500 people in about 3 weeks. Because of the cuts and the bigger space, we need to rework every scene, especially the blocking.
SO, the scene before had just been this run around type of scene where I’m being overly dramatic on purpose to try and trick the guy into something. Now there’s a lot more physical humor.
At one point I smush my hand in his face, pushing him away. Then I crawl all over him. He flips me onto my back. My character’s all “HELL NO BITCH. I’M THE FUCKING TOP” (please note these are not the actual lines) and I flip him back over.
IT’S SO MUCH HARDER THAN ROMANCE NOVELS AND FANFICTION TELL YOU IT IS. NOTE TO SELF FOR FUTURE LOGAN AND VERONICA SCENES.
12. ideas of a perfect date
Good question.... I actually had to think about this for a few minutes since I haven't dated in almost 13 years. So this is my perfect old married lady date night.
My perfect date would start out as a surprise for me. Something that my husband had been planning for a while. The first step would be to drop off the kids for an overnight stay at grandmas. We would then head out to dinner at a nice steak restaurant. After dinner we would head to the theater to see Wicked (maybe Les Mis, or another Broadway musical that was currently on tour.) After the show we would go for cocktails and dessert. Finally ending up at a B&B for the evening.
Back when I was single I loved the dates that included dinner followed by going to the local playhouse for whatever show they were currently showing. (Even though I worked at the playhouse, I still loved going and sitting in the audience. I seriously loved that place, still do.) After the show, going to the local ice cream parlor. Then ending the night with a small make out session in the back of the car. - Small tidbit about me, I've only slept with my husband, no I didn't wait until I was married, but I was engaged. :)
I hope you know what you've done! Aha. Every day when I sit down in front of the telly, a behind the scenes look at the Outlander wedding comes on, it's all very interesting. Her dress was so beautiful!
Hahaha you're welcome! ;) It was a gorgeous dress.

(A day late and a dollar short) CONGRATULATIONS!!! May you forevermore find yourself on the right side of the retail experience.
NEVER A DOLLAR SHORT and also I ignored all well wishes until this morning because I was too busy going out and getting my double celebratory drink on.
And I love that! I want "May you forevermore find yourself on the right side of the retail experience" cross stitched into something now.
For realsies, though, as much as I understand that places like Big Box Stores employ a lot of people, I'm going to make it my priority to shop more at mom and pop stores and buy products from places like farmers' markets and etsy. It's going to be an etsy holiday!

Congratulations on the new job and happy anniversary!
Thank you! It was a great day. My best friend also picked up the keys to the house she and her boyfriend are renting, so I think that 9/8 is a good date all around for people tangentially connected to me!

Yay! That's terrific news, congratulations, all the best in your new place :)
Thank you! I'm very, very excited about this. And I'm even more excited for the ability to do things like: pay my bills in a timely manner, and potentially buy a new laptop and/or fix-fix my laptop instead of the Nick Miller fixes I've been pulling recently.

sweetamara replied to your post:I’m thoroughly disgusted by what’s going on in...
I’ll be honest and say I am fearful,I mean for the poor civilians who face this. It’s absolutely disgraceful and it’s terrifying. We honestly haven’t heard very much about it down under. My heart really goes out to everyone.
It's disgusting what they're doing.
I don't think anyone has heard much about it at all. They're blocking media from entering and there's a no-fly zone above. I just heard about it yesterday evening and it's been going on for a few days. I heard about it through Twitter.
We've had some crazy riots here in Quebec City in the past and they were violent (unlike what's going in Ferguson) and the City was never put under martial law.
Martial law has basically taken away all their rights. Police can arrest them for nothing, without evidence or a warrant. They are also allowed to enter homes and do searches without warrants.
They put Montreal under Martial Law during the October Crisis in 1970 because of the FLQ and the amount of people that were arrested for nothing was insane. I think that in the first 24 hours the police did 3,000 searches and arrested like 500 people. Anyone arrested under martial law is denied due process and can be held without bail, for no reason whatsoever.
Thank you, friend. I agree with your response to the anon. I am also confused by the reaction, of course there are issues and everyone is entitled to voice them; but some posts are leaving me thinking: "WHAAAATTT??!"
It's fine to voice concerns when something unknown just arrived. And I respect everyone's opinion (and I even agree with some of their valid points), because of course I would do the same thing for maybe different topic. Like when they recast Carrie, I was like, "What..." And then I moved on. But insulting other fans who are trying to enjoy the news and then accusing the showrunners that they are trying to make an offensive show, and they haven't even seen it at all, it's like saying "I already hate this food even when I never taste it but it looks weird and I'm not familiar with it and you must be barbaric to eat this food."
The barbaric part annoys me. Why do you have to call me barbaric for eating this food? You don't have to eat the food, you don't even have to like the food. But calling me barbaric, it's essentially childish.
It's like other fandom who never watch Veronica Mars, and they're saying "This show sucks!" How would you know? You never seen the show.
(This opinion is based on that anon's message to @neptunerising70)
