Fuck, I just thought about how Sam wasn’t at the premiere for Workin' Girls despite being Zoe’s boyfriend and a musical fan. What if he gets called to the Starlight Theatre and that’s how he learns Zoey was murdered? Do you think he would guilt about not being there to stop it? Like, he may not care about Charlotte, but Honey Queen shows that he clearly cares about Zoey.

I think Zoey and Sam are a fun couple actually lmaooooo

they would commit crimes together. One time I wrote a one shot where they run over the homeless guy by mistake and then have to hide the body, and i still low key feel like they have a cool dynamic

Roses

The shade of red on her nails perfectly matched the petal she plucked from the rose for it to fall onto the floor to join the rest of its peers.

A bouquet of red roses. A card with an unnecessary apology, a declaration of love, a fruitless plea.

Sam was making this harder on both of them. He knew that Zoey wouldn't stay.

And she knew that she was breaking his heart.

But still, there was a little warmth that stirred inside her chest at the sight of the roses, even now that they were plucked bald by her wandering hands in absentminded motion.

Was it love?

Or was it a sense of triumph that among all the rotten things in this town she would always have one good thing to return to if she only wished so?
