       “ you may be right, ” she is. but luke is, if he is anything ----- a little bit dramatic. apparently it’s a family trait, but that’s a conversation for another day. “ but if it happens, i mean it. i’m going to pack up my belongings and go live on an island far, far away where no one will ever find me. ” okay... maybe he’s a bit more than just ‘a little’ dramatic.

polly had explained to nick and noelle not to let anyone see or know where the kringles were from. the story remained that their hometown was named after a fish in alaska, but nick supposed it was a secret that couldn’t be kept forever. which is why he watched jennifer watch snowcone, who was hovering just beside her, bleating merrily into the air.  ❝ if you think that’s weird , you should meet my sister . ❞
