I literally just realized that your “Goes Wrong Show” posts are related to The Play that Goes Wrong and I’m very excited because my junior year theatre class did a production of it (I was Sandra). Anyway is the show like a spin-off or something? Where would a person hypothetically go watch it?
omg that's so funny cuz a pic of sandra from the show is my icon right now.........it's kismet ghlkasjdfkl
but yes, the show goes wrong is a spin-off of the play that goes wrong from the og cast! there's two specials and two seasons of television, and though the show did get tragically cancelled those two seasons are amazing, and so are the specials. almost all of them are available free with ads on youtube and tubi, and i also have a google drive with the full series that i can share privately if you're interested :)
there isn't a lot of continuity, but there is a recommended viewing order that most cohesively goes together: peter pan goes wrong is first (and free on youtube!), a christmas carol goes wrong next (which is unfortunately the hardest to find of all the whole series, but it is currently streaming on plex), and then season one and season two can be mostly watch in order. mostly.
okay sorry for the ramble but i will being an annoying pendant for a sec and point out that most platforms put the episode "the spirit of christmas" as the first episode of season one when it's actually intended on being the last in the series ahglkdasj. tubi has the correct order, youtube unfortunately does not. i know it doesn't matter that much unless you're insane about the characters like i am but given that i am insane the characters i have to address it. it irrationally bothers me so much XD
there's also an audio show on the internet archive called the christmas that goes wrong (not to be confused with a christmas carol goes wrong lol) that i also highly recommend! idk where it's placed in the timeline (or at least, where i decided to place it in the timeline, idk how much thought the creators put into canon when making it lmao) but i highly recommend you listen to it at some point. i adore that thing for shipping reasons, but it's also goddamn funny, they really brought their a-game for this radio show that wasn't even intended to be preserved. i still have to bully my brother into listening to it because it's just so perfect, lmao.
that should be most of it--there's a couple of fun related clips of promotional videos/live performances that i can share too, or if you wanna find them yourself they're pretty easy to find on youtube and tumblr, haha. also, as i've said before, everything listed above is available through a google drive link. the only rule around the drive is that you can't share it publicly, but if you wanted to dm me or send another ask i can give it to you!
hopefully this wasn't too much lol, i was hyperfixated like crazy on this series for a while and while i'm currently fixated on a different show atm it's still very dear to me. i hope you enjoy! the whole series is honestly one of the funniest pieces of media i've seen, and having experience in or at least some knowledge of theater only makes it funnier. they don't waste a single joke, it's honestly impressive, and the character are funny and endearing and extremely autistic lmao. let me know if you wanna know anything else, and happy watching!
