Imo, while Repzion has every right to talk about her, this kind of content has been done incredibly well and has been around for a while. I am.. skeptical to see if he brings any new or interesting perspectives to the conversation. So far, he has not.

🔥 + Peppy?

hm, i haven't thought about peppy in a... good while.

i actually like his command design, i like the moustache LOL and the idea of him being general after general pepper steps down. i live for their friendship tbh, and i wish the battle begins short was continued on so we could see what those two were hiding from the rest of the team lol

i also think he suits his role as a mentor figure well but... that's really what he is. a fatherly mentor figure like... it's a good trope and i'm glad that's the one they went with for him but that's... really it for him. there's hints and small amounts of dialogue about his friendship with james and pigma, and then there's the "you're becoming more like your father" thing with fox which was started back in the itoh comics which came out before the first game!

i wish they would dive more into that, fox's dislike of the constant comparisons to his father made by peppy more than others, and that might tie into peppy's internal unwillingness to let go of his friend and actually fully accept that james is gone

but drama isn't sf's strongsuit, it's more snark and then shooting stuff and flying a cool spaceship as funky space aminals and tbh i love that too

with peppy it's a lot of "should've, could've, would've's"

hi!! i mainly use procreate for ipad at this point though i also occasionally use photoshop cs6 (mostly for editing stuff that's more finished)

So what art materials/art programs do you use to draw?

Hello! I draw traditional mainly, still a complete beginner with digital. For Trad. works:

Sketches: Prismacolor Ebony sketching pencils, I hardly erase, so a plain eraser would do if possible. For more smoothness, I blend with cottonbuds/Q-tips to take off graininess. If interested, but smooth pencils for quick sketches and hard pencils for detailed work.

Trad. Color: For color pencils, I work with any type. So something like Prisma colored pencils is good! For markers, I also used many types. But one I like to stick is Studio Blick Brush Markers since they are a much affordable alternative to Copics, both markers and refills!

Digital: Lastly with digital,,, well tbh, I’m a complete beginner! -w- Also I don’t have a drawing tablet, so what I do is download the Medibang app (free art program to download) from my phone and sketch from there with a small screen, using my finger as a stylus!
