A four-year-old looking Patsy was just aimlessly roaming about as she usually did when she heard some noise coming from behind some tall tomato plants. Curiously, she followed the sound until she poked her head through said plants and saw a child who looked a few years older than her. He was holding a tomato and, seeing as she hadn't eaten all day, her mouth began to water at the sight of it. "Umm.. little boy?" she asked, moving closer. "What's that, n' can I have some too?"

His first thought may have been along the lines of ‘what kind of idiot doesn’t know a tomato when they see one?’ but he managed to keep it to himself. Just from the sound of her voice, he could tell this girl was young. The best little boys certainly didn’t make little girls cry.

What was a single missing tomato? Antonio had plenty more.

“It’s a tomato,” he said, holding it out to her. “Call me Romano.”

"Umm, big brother?" The voice of a four-year-old looking Patsy called from below Arthur. "I think I messed up with a spell and I need your help."

[He makes a noise that sounds like a snort and a coo simultaneously.]

Hah, well you definitely messed up something. [He’s bending down to talk to her.] I don’t know how much I’ll be able to do though.

Arthur? Do you know how to make any French dishes?

I know how to make something that has the same name and ingredients and procedure as a French dish, yes.

Haha, I wish I was this confident, but this is actually what I tell myself every day to keep from feeling any worse about myself. Apparently that’s supposed to help me, so that’s what I’m doing~!

…You think it makes me look less insecure?

I don’t know if calling yourself ugly makes you look secure. But if you said you were proud of how you looked I think it might help.

Why are so many people on your dash speaking of ships??? Is there some new boat naming contest that I am unaware of? [Please forgive her. She's not with the times]

[Of course, she would know all about having contests to give boats ridiculous names. That is one of her country traits he finds most amusing. But that isn’t the case, sadly.]

 I’m not 100% well versed on lingo, but I do believe they are referring to the ships in romantic relationships!

 “Aahh grazie, miss, I’m very glad you approve! Patrizio is my hairdresser for special occasions, but I usually try to maintain it myself-- I can do wonders with hair as nice as yours!”   and as if on cue he gives her a very thorough and rather indiscreet once over, barely focussing on her hair as he shamelessly gives into one of his worst habits.
