Finnrey + practice (👀)

Finn wipes the sweat from his brow, his eyes still focused on Rey in front of him. Her teeth are clenched, he can tell from the way her jaw is set. The sound of his lightsaber igniting crackles throughout the air, white glow following it.

Rey’s eyes light up at the sight of it, she still can’t hide her excitement knowing he has joined her in repairing the Jedi Order - as Luke had so aptly put it. 

“You ready, partner?” She says, all serious and playful at the same time. The blue glow of her lightsaber highlighting the sparkle in her eyes.

Finn nods and they run towards each other, a flurry of white and blue that collides in a fizz of their ‘sabers and bouts of joyful laughter.

finn really is sitting here in the center of meaningful relationships/interactions in the sequel trilogy rn

he’s had more significant relationships/interactions established with main protags/antagonists/secondary characters than anyone, just about 

and people still think he’s just a side character everyman comic relief instead of the male lead/protag of this trilogy smh

I like the headcanon of Rey, not growing up in a culture where makeup was a thing, initially sees lipstick as something to eat. But I equally love the headcanon that Rey figures out just what lipstick is typically used for and tests out how longwearing it is on Finn.
